We are very happy to announce that we have locked in the one and only Bill Bachman as our featured instructor for the 2015 National Drumline Camp:
VIC FIRTH SIGNATURE ARTIST: BILL BACHMAN
In the world of marching tenors and rudimental drumming, Bill Bachman needs no introduction.
He is not only a prolific author, world class performer, clinician and educator, but also an inventor and touring/recording drumset artist. Bill Bachman studied percussion performance at the University of North Texas and is a graduate of the Berklee College of Music.
Bill has played with and instructed many award winning marching percussion groups including the UNT drumline, Cadets, Bluecoats, Blue Knights, and Carolina Crown in his 12 years touring with Drum and Bugle Corps.
He has presented nearly 200 drum clinics and drum festival performances on five continents over the last decade. In addition to his impressive resume as a marching percussionist, Bill is a profilific auuthor, a Technique Columnist for Modern Drummer Magazine, and the brains behind drumworkout.com – a revolutionary website designed to help drummers reinvent their technique and “Practice with a Pro”.
Along with Bill’s expertise, we are happy to once again be welcoming Campbell Phillips in his role as Camp Leader and Instructor. Campbell joins us fresh from a two month tour with the Blue Devils International Corps – a wonderful addition to his already impressive marching percussion resume.
As always, we will welcome a number of additonal instructors to the National Drumline Camp team as we get closer to the date, so keep your eyes peeled for more great announcements.
Registrations for the 2015 National Drumline Camp are now open and filling fast, so make sure you register as soon as possible to ensure you don’t miss out on a spot!
